Default coolpix 5400 low-light focusing

Hello,

I am very interested in buying a coolpix 5400. But lots of user reviews on dpreview.com state that it is almost impossible to autofocus in low-light situations. Some also state that the manual focus feature is useless (because of the display).

An alternative I had in mind is the Canon G5, which is about $70 cheaper, but according to dpreview it creates lots of noise when using 100+ ISO.

Are there Coolpix 5400 users here? Are these problems as bad as they're saying?

Thanks!

Oops, I noticed this topic already exists on this forum. Sorry. Nevermind.
