Default need help pls

I just bought the nikon s4000 yesterday, it was on clearance and I was like why not have another small camera to take around. I took about 10 pictures with it today and all of a sudden the darn lens wont retract at all. I have tried: taking the battery out, leaving the battery out for hrs, charging it and nothing is working. any advice?
Thank you all

Go to this site. It gives some things you can do for a common error of lens being stuck. Read everything carefully before you start doing anything. But if the camera isnt working you have nothing to lose.
