Default Is there any way to set the "Multiple Exposure" mode on a D700

Is there any way to set the "Multiple Exposure" mode on a D700 to on always on under the shooting menu. Have to continuously turn on for each set of shots. We even tried with Nikon remote camera control and did not see option. We take 360 images and use a 360 robotic camera head. We can spin camera with no issues for single shots. Just want to take advantage of the multiple exposures to get a more in-depth images. We just want the camera to do the work. We can shoot manually but like to use are robot device to keep consistency.

G'day William

Do you mean "burst" - icon shown as 3-sheets of paper ... where camera will remain shooting for as long as the shutter button is depressed
Or do you mean something else??

Regards, Phil

Default What I am looking for is a way to keep the Multiple Exposure mode on.

What I am looking for is a way to keep the Multiple Exposure mode on. I set to three shots. The Nikon D700 binds the three images to one image file. The Multiple Exposure mode is kind a like an auto HDR. The problem is after each 3 shoots need to turn it back on.

So basically what your saying is- that after taking a 3 shot exposure bracketed image- and duly processed into one image(HDR in effect),you have to turn this feature on again to do another one straight away- despite not having turned the camera off... right..?
I had a camera that did that with the self timer.... very annoying having to set it again after each shot...!
