Default New Lens combo

I have a Nikon 4500 and I attached a TC-E2 and Canon TCDC58N together.
I did this because I was having trouble getting an Olympus tcon-17 lens.

The pictures show what the combo looks like and a shot at all of the focal lenghts for comparrison.

38mm, 155mm, 310mm, 542.5mm
If it ever gets warm again I will take some proper tripod shots
The photos are at

I reduced the photos to 1024X768.

This is an alternative to the Olympus tcon 17.
Here is the disclaimer.
There are two different Canon DC58 lenses. Make sure you get the TCDC58N.
There is a big difference between the two. The 58N is a 1.75X converter.

That being used with the nikon 2X gives the longest length that I have seen. 542.5MM on my 4500. The tcon17/B300 combo gives you 527mm.

This canon combo requires a 62mm to 58mm stepdown ring and is fairly light becaue the DC58 is housed in heavy plastic.

Default new lens combo

Hey Ronald,
Did you get an opportunity to take more pictures with the lens combo. And also, where can I purchase the canon TCD58N lens? I tried looking at Bizrate, Dealtime and Nextag but the search comes up empty. Any help would be appreciated.
