Default Raynox DCR 1540 Pro for CP 5700

Hi,
Did a person of this forum already try the Raynox DCR 1540 Pro with a CP5700, is This optics for me, less expensive in France that the optic Nikon TC-E15D but it must be also less good quality, is it that the difference of price justify its purchase?
Thanks,

Hi All,

I would also be interested in the response to this, as can source the DCR 1540 Pro cheaper than the Nikon 1.5x Lense.

Similarly, has anyone tried any of these lenses below with a CP5700?

Raynox DCR 1850 PRO

Kenko KUT-300H 3x

Opteka 2x

I know that all 3 can be made to fit, but not sure on the range of focus or quality of pics.

From Raynox website:
http://raynox.co.jp/english/digital/egnikon5700.htm

"Performance of the DCR-1850PRO may suffer when used on a lens with an optical zoom of more than 6X such as the 8X zoom lens on the CoolPix5700 camera."
Sounds a bit noncommital, like they haven't actually tried the 1850 pro on the camera yet(?)

Yes, still shopping for telephoto options!

Cheers,
Paul

Hi,
In fact, I bought a TC-E15ED of Nikon and it is perfected, I made tests with a sighting and there is not any loss of quality between the zoom without teleconverter and with, no distortion and none fuzzy on sides of the picture.
