Default Disconnecting camera from computer

The literature states to always click the eject or unplug hardware icon in the taskbar. Where is that located? All I see is the small transfer images screen in the Nikon 4 software which I use to get my pictures to my photo software. Then today, I used the the telephoto toggle button and the camera made a horrendous noise like something was jammed and it was all frozen up. Has any one else encountered this with the Cool Pix 995? Thanks.

Default Card Reader

I was told to get a Card Reader for 4500 Coolpix.
This eliminates any possible misshaps also the camera batteries are not used.

systray, bottum left of screen, green arrow pointing down and left. If you leave mouse arrow on the little icons for a few seconds it will display a label of what they are. But card readers make life easy.
