Ease up - it was not evil meant - but I have a feeling you would fit better in the Minolta Forum. With your knowledge you could solve a lot of problems overthere.

I mean...whats the point in telling people in the Nikon Forum how bad YOU think their cameras are.

touchy- it was only meant in jest.

to settle this as follows:

you have the best camera that does the job for you

i have the best camera that does the job for me.

settled

klaus- remember this all started when you were giving inaccurate technical info about the D7i and dumped on it. thats when i got involved. before that i wasn't the least bit interested. lets see then you taunted me and insulted some of my images too. i would say that you are as much to blame as i am.

now-lets shake hands and work together. we have enough issues in this world to really work on. not this petty junk we're both selling here

Its easy to tell somebody they started...
There will always be two or more people to make a discussions, right!

But I hold my statement. I THINK YOU would do better with your comment in the Minolta forum.

Your right, lets shake hands and let our photos make the talking.

This is a Nikon forum. You'll get lynched in here (ie. If someone get suckered in a fashion statement let them be...) Steves is right it's whatever turn you on, and one has to live with the decision once it's made!

well, thanks a lot for these few insights
I'm waiting for some 7Hi review on the Net, to compare it with 5700, but just wanted to ask you in advance (since I'll buy one in about a week or two)

Personally, I would also prefer Nikon (guess I'll have to disregard this motorized zoom), but let's wait a bit and see.

Klaus DK, of course you're right in contacting the dealer - if it were possible, of course I would do it ..... but these two cameras are VERY improbable to even appear on the market here due to their prices, and local "dealers" most certainly wouldn't even think of giving you the camera for a test drive. Their stupid policy.....
Thus I am limited to online reviews, and digesting all info found there.

Cheers

Woyna:

I see your point. They are more liberal in my country, but of course you got to have a good relationship with your dealer.

Best wishes and good luck!
