Default Coolpix 4500 - Lens cap cord

I just got a new Coolpix 4500. It comes with a lens cap plus a cord, which is a string tied into a loop. I can see easily where the cord attaches to the lens cap, but where does it attach to on the camera body?

There is an illustration of where to attach the lens cap cord in the 4500 manual.

Default Lens cord attachment

Hi Catcher,
I found the best way to attach the lens cord is to get a large split keyring which goes thru' the swivel. You can then put your second finger thru' the ring to hold the camera tight. The lens cord can then go thru' that ring as well.
I like being safe with my investment !!!
