So you ask for 8800 photos I provide 2 different sets and no comments on either set here? Hmmm, kind of makes it not worth the effort to post them here.

I have a Minolta all in one zoom and the 8800 looks good for an upgrade.

These pictures particularly pursuaded me

It's either the Nikon or a Canon Rebel

Hi Terry,

Very nice pictures, I especially like the one of your partner, good composition. Some very interesting shots. second favourite is the one with the railings. Have you tried sunsets yet?

I can't wait to get my 8800 now, but it will have to be after Christmas. I hope that it will be cheaper then:-)

Greetings from

Frailea

Hello trtjazz,

Very nice and varied series .

I see clarity in your pics with little noise and no discernible purple fringing.

Your efforts to share are much appreciated

Just curious...what cam is the subject in last frame using?

tik frailea, & digi,

Thanks for the look and comments. My wife in the last frame is shooting with a Kodak DX7590, which is a great camera out of the box. I bought that one first and shot with it, made great photos, my wife too got reeinterested in shooting, so I bought the Nikon. Honestly, I am not sure the Nikon takes any better pictures, but it does afford more options to grow into and is a faster working cam.
