I showed my lovely bride the picture of the day (11-18-2004) and she feel in love with the flower and would like to know if anyone knows what kind of flower it is. I have a feeling one of those will be in our garden come spring.

Thanks!

The photographer entitled it a Blue Passion Flower.

You could also email the photographer directly.

If you right click on the NAME, left click properties you will get the

email address.

Hi Stonekold,

I am glad that you liked my passion flower photo.

This passion flower is called a Caerulea Passion Flower, or Passiflora Caerulea. It is acommonly growntype, but not as exotic looking as alot of them. It is very easy to grow from seed. I have also produced some new plants by rooting the stem cuttings in water. There is a hybrid called, Passiflora "Clear Sky" that looks exactly like this one, only the flower is twice as big.

Here is asite that hasnice color photographs ofdifferent types of passion flowers. Let me warn you though, they are addictive!

I hope I did that right...it's the first time I have ever tried to post a link. :-)

Have a great day!!
