how does the digital SLRs stay in cold climat? I want to take winterpictures but I am afraid the camera cannot say outside in cold climat (below 0 celcius) too long.

Use a DPS 9000 battery

Search on Google for them.

If it is a digital camera, there will be no problem. Remember that most computer rooms, full of the same chips, are located in air conditioned climates. The most important factor is to let the camera temp come to the ambient air temp prior to turning on and using. This will minimize condensation, which can and will damage the electronic components if the sealed lacquor has been compromised.
