First test shots with the 6T using the nextphoto 62mm adapter.
*Problems encountered with the light in the first shot - the shadow you see is from the lens obstructing my light source, NOT the flash. No flash used in any shots.*

Order from least to most magnification appears to be - non6t tele, non6t mid , non6t wide, 6t wide, 6t mid, 6t tele.

Going from wide to tele...

At wide angle:
Both with and without the 6T the magnification were very similar, though I could get closer with the 6T (suggesting larger mag. would've been possible if I had the light).

At mid-range:
Non 6T:

With 6T:

At full tele:
Non 6T:

With 6T:

JakobG : This are a good pic. in closeup, good camera wright ??. Here are a WEB directions to see some solution to get perfect ilumination all aroung the object. One is Gene F. Rhodes page, he has the Electronic design and any technitian can fix, I got one few years ago for my CP-995 and work perfect, now, they can make and a lens adapter for the 8800. http://www.photoprojects.net/index.html . The another one is all ready maked as Digi-Slave, and if you see, they use a Canon Revel, so, they can make one for the 8800. I will by one, http://www.srelectronics.com/You can have and a idea, if you like to take good light for your colseup. Note : this ringslight are not flash, are LED with continuos light. I will send you some examples. From Panama.Carlitin

Did you try this without the adaptor....changes in depth of field? Somehow it looks as though there's more with the 6T.>>

The shots are both with and without the 6t.
Depth of field appears to be greater with, going from other shots I took, but I will do some more detailed testing over the coming week.
