I really need a remote shutter release for my Nikon 8700. I like the camera, and am reasonably pleased with the picture quality. But I am having a hard time due to lack of a remote.

Do you guys have any suggestions.

I know the timer is availale. But I find that is not right for may uses. By the time the picture is taken, my subjects have moved (Family and doggies)

Thanks

Chris

Have you tried the 3 second remote?

They let you choose between 3 or 10 seconds.
