Default nikon coolpix E5700 or nikon coolpix 5700

Are there differences among

NIKON COOLPIX 5700
and
NIKON COOLPIX E5700 ?

no same reference.
When i plug my Coolpix 4500 in my Mac, it says "E4500 plugged in"

Does that mean that the MAC software only recognizes it as an E5700 or the camera firmware identifies itself to the MAC as an E5700?

I think he's asking about physical/electronic differences.

i know. i think the "E" is only used for "internal" reference (firmware)

The E is the productionname as far as I know.

When Nikon send the N90 on the street - it got another name here in europe. The name was F90. I don't think anybody here in europe refer to the CP5700 as the E5700. But it's the same camera.
