Hi,

I have a Nikon, CP8800.

I was wondering what brand and type of paper people like.

I like the HP brand for glossy and the ritz Camera brand for Satin.

But I have not been able to find any HP satin.

I have found that the best brand and finish of paper is dependent on the type of printer you use. I have an Epson Stylus R300 and it has a natural preference for Epson paper products. It does not like HP products. For archival type photos I have been using Kodak Ultima with their Colorlast Technology (100 year life expectancy) - only time will tell. Over the past several years I havestudied dozens of articles by writers supposedlyin the knowand the consensus is that it's the paper that makes the difference for longetivity, notnecessarily the ink as was first suggested.
