Yes, I'm no photographer. I can't seem to get a decent looking picture of people, so I stayed away from that on these samples. This was my first true test of the 8800 camera and it did pretty well. I was a little disappointed in the fact that it had to write the buffer to the card after every picture, but I guess that's what 8MP does to you. Still, supposedly, this camera has a big buffer, so I figured it would be able to take several pictures at the best JPEG mode before writing to the camera.

All of these pictures are at the highest jpeg mode, and I just resized them in photoshop (72 dpi @ 900x675) for quicker displaying purposes only. I still love the picture quality of this camera and feel I did NOT make a bad choice in purchasing this camera. A few things could have been better, but you can say that with any camera. Why can't someone make the perfect camera? I guess it's all about business, huh? Oh well...instead of posting the pictures here, I put them on a personal page of mine. Feel free to criticize etc.

Great Looking Pics.

What setting did you use for that night time building shot?

Actually, I just used auto mode. It was rather chilly there so I didn't mess with the settings on the night photos. It jumped up to ISO 200, so you can see noise present in the original picture. We took these pictures to the local Walgreen's to have them printed and you can't see any noise in them at all (4x6 of course)
