Todays Photo-Of-The-Day (taken with a Nikon CP2100) is really excellent and a good reminder thatyousimplydon't have to spend, spend, spend to get good photos.

I'm going to keep using my G6 and CP4500 until they fall to bits....

The camera is not all that important. People who have the EYE and can frame the picture, they make good photos.

Well done Jessica!

Is Jessica a member here? Maybe she could post some more of her pictures here for us all to enjoy:-)

Greetings from

Angie

I reckon that the camera can be important though. Some cameras might not be as consistent in producing good quality pics (focus/sharpness, colour etc) as compared with others. It depends on the situation.

OMan. Agreed.

(Anyways, how can anyone possibly take a "bad" picture on Harbour Island, Bahamas?)

Great shot, encouraging for us Coolpix users.

By the way, I'm also pleased that her (Jessica's) photo of the day refutes the Conventional Wisdom about where to place the horizon line.

First you gotta learn the rules before you know when to break 'em, I guess.
