Hi!
I am for the moment living in magnificent China and I finally deared to post some photos, maybe of interest for travellers or 8800 buyers.

Just came home with 2GB of pictures from a 3 week roundtrip seeking "the old" china and Tibet. China, as well as the CP8800, I could warmly recommend to all interested. Most pictures are taken with UV filter and in shutter priority mode, only resized in paintshop pro to fit here.
The pictures are far from perfect, but that is not due to anything but the photographer. ;):?
The 8800 never stops suprising me and I think it takes much sharper and better colour-balanced pictures than my old 5700 on an overall basis.

Picture from Lijiang, a small and beautiful city 2800m above sea level in south western China. You`ll find it in UNESCO`s list. Really worth visiting!!

Lijiang have many minority groups, this is an old Naxi lady. A 1000 year old culture where the females are in charge. Unfortunately, crowded streets made it hard to catch this oldie all alone.

This is taken just outside the citywalls of Lijiang, through the front window of a fast moving car on a wide old communist highway. Beautiful Jade snow Mountain with its 5600m.

Same mountain area, going 70 km/t while shooting at an altitude of 3000m.

Going horsetrekking at the Tibet plateu. The tibetian guides enjoying their early breakfast soup at the basecamp. Just as chilly as it looks. Taken with my 5700!

The old city of Dali, a three hours drive from Lijiang, 1900 m above sea level. Another exciting city with lots of culture and history. Rain is coming.
