Hi all,

I'm currently working on a short film using the Nikon coolpix 8700. Yeah I know, I should be using a DV camcorder but cant afford it yet, so I'm making the best out of the quicktime video capture that comes with the 8700 for now.

My question is that while the video looks good the sound leaves a LOT to be desired. Terrible background hiss even on a completley quiet set. Soare there any accessories like a shotgun mic or boom that will work for this camera?

Thanks -Drexx
