Default ????? questions on digiscoping

I am in need of advice on the best setup for digiscoping with my CP 990. I already have the camera and Nikon's 3X telephoto for it. I need to go with a spotting scope and associated adaptors couplers, etc. Anyone with a setup that works well, please leave a reply.

Thanks Again,
Bob C-

I suggest you look at the Digiscoping forum. Also look at Andy Bright's web site http://www.digiscopingukbirds.homestead.com/

I use the CP4500, which I understand can be considered as the replacement / successor for your model.

I use my Leica APO Televid and an EagleEye Optics L1 adapter. My preferred Leica eyepiece is the 32WW although I have tried their 20-60 zoom eyepiece as well.

Have a look at my pbase site for example results (Great Tit, Nuthatch, Badger, Turnstone etc). I can also recommend some default settings if you can provide a list of the options that your camera will support.
