Default Photoshop Plugin for 5700 RAW files

Does anyone know where to download a plugin for straight up import of RAW files into Photoshop 7? I've heard that such an animal exists, but can't find out where to get it!

Thanks in advance,
Steve

They come with the nikon view software. Look in the program folder for the nikonview program. Or go to nikonusa.com then support.

But you have to install the program first. It's not enough to look in the installationfiles...
Anoying if you only use a card-reader.

Yes, I use a card reader only. I have no use for NikonView, as I have all the tools I need in Photoshop 7 for viewing and editing, and I hate installing software I don't need. I'll try Nikon support as suggested.

Thanks!

Maybe you can intall the Nikon view, then copy the plugin from the Nikon View folder into the Photoshop/plugin folder. And then uninstall the Nikon View. It could be worth a try...

What is the file name for the Plug-in? I can't seem to find any plug-ins in the folder.

Dont know if it works but they all reside in the NkViewfolder and named "Nikon NEF plugin", there's also some tiff plugin. Maybe it will need some more files. I have to try it myself - but christmas' calling now! See ya
