I have a CP 8800. I just snapped a few RAW pics set at 3264x2448 pixels. Is there a way to open the RAW files in photoshop and double the images size while still maintaining 300 dpi? I thought all RAW files gave you this option... my RAW files seem to be just uncompressed 3264x2448 images. In the past, working w/other's RAW files, I was given the option to significantly increase the document size at 300 dpi. Any help would be appreciated

If you are using Adobe's camera raw plugin you should have the option of changing the output size.

However this is still achieved using interpolation, but doing this before any other processing is done is probably the best time.

Thanks for your help swiss. I stumbled into a bit of info, there's a Camera RAW plugin update for PhotoShop CS. With this update, I was able to increase the document size from about 8"x10"@ 300dpi to 19"x25" @ 240dpi.

You must have this update to increase Nikon RAW image sizes... or maybe just a latest version of CS. It worked perfectly!
