"What A Shot!!!" You sure do some FANTASTIC work. All I get when I try to take a moon shot is "BLUUURRR" with a small bright light in the center.

Can you tell Exactly how you took this shot of the moon? Did you have the setting on "Auto" "A" "M" "P", or what? Did you have the zoom at wide angle or ? Did you havethe camera set on a particular "scene". such as "Landscape", "Night Photo" or??

I'm sorry to ask you so many questions, but I do appreciate your help.

Thank you very much,

Shooting the moon is easy, if you have the enou─▒gh zoom power. The moon is a very bright object, almost as bright as daylight. Use your maximum zoom (I use the extra 4x digital zoom as well), and you better use a tripod then. With the 8800 I use 1/125 or 1/250 with f5.2 (that's the max allowed with 10x), that's all...

Thank you so much for all your help. I am learning how to use my camera from all the tips on this forum. I'm sure glad everyone is so kind to help a beginner with all the good advice.

I will appreciate any new tips you want to give too.

What is your advice on taking Family group photos? I guess the Focus tip you gave me will work at any time huh?

Thank you again for helping me.
