Default For Steve or whoever...

trying to find out whether the X-tend-A-View fits on the CP4500 without covering anything important (like buttons).

Did you (Steve) try one on your pre-prod model?

I am doing a shoot very soon with both lots of inside, flourescent close work followed immediately by outside, intense sun-light and stage light shooting.

Time and the amount of room I have to carry things makes using 1 CoolPix more convenient than carrying a DSLR.

I have an opportunity to pick up a 4500 that is being held for me. But if I know for sure I can't use the X-Tend-A-View pro on it, I'll pass and just carry the 995.

thanx.

Nope, not going to work. The 4500 has a smaller LCD and body. The Xtendaview covers both the top and bottom buttons.

Default Thanx, Steve!!!

I knew you would have the answer.

I sure appreciate it, as I said, I was interested in really testing the 4500 at this 4-day long concert, but with the harsh sun (plus stage lights), I wouldn't even try without the Xtend-A-View.

Your info is always helpful.

(Also helps convince me to wait for the D100).

Thanx again!!!
