The best trick for me is to use the AF/AE lock button and prefocus. (near the 8800's viewfinder) This works better than pressing the shutter button halfway since the camera won't try to refocus after each shot and you can continue to take pictures (almost instantaneously) until the buffer is full. Plus you won't accidently take a picutre and miss the moment. (done this too many times with the shutter release "half-press") Try it out! It really works well for me when I'm trying to take pictures of my little baby girl. :-)

On the other hand...I'm drooling over the D200... :?
