Default Nikon 2500 missing settings?

Just got a new Nikon 2500. For the life of me, I cannot find the white balance, best shot selection, manual setting , etc. in the list it is suppposed to be in. There are only three things listed, though in the online manual, these others are supposed to be there. Am I just dense???

I do not know this camera but i would look in the menu for (re set all) or you can take out the battery over night and then put it back in and see what happens.

The white balance is only available in the M-shooting mode. The 2500 does not have best shot and manual setting. One cannot expect a camera of $280.00 to have all manual features that are available in a $500+ Coolpix 4500. The printed manual makes the above very clear. I am not sure what online manual you are looking at.

Default 2500 settings

Shene: Thanks for the link to the manual. I am reading in that link that the camera DOES have the best shot selection in the Manual mode. Am I misunderstanding your reply, or is this feature not on the later 2500's?
