Default How to transfering photos to My Pictures

I have a nikon 4500.
After taking photos I place the card into a card reader.
I use the Nikon program and they have their own file (or what ever you call it) it is on a short cut on my desk top.

Now I want to place them in My Pictures before I transfer them to the Adobe Photoshop Elements.

How do I get them from the Card Reader program to My Pictures?

Help please :?: :?: :? :?

First, find the folder that the card reader software downloaded your photos to. Then, selcet the photos to move, and either copy or cut them from this folder, and paste them into the my pictures folder.

There should be a way to choose the location that the card reader will place the pics. So, if you want them in the My Pictures folder, change it to that as the default location.
