Default Nice image!

You may wqant to try using your 995 to make composite images in pshop! I have printed up to 36" wide posters with composite images made this way!

Thanks Steves! Are you using a panorama program to stitch? I'd be interesting in printing the pano image - not viewing it web based. Are you on a Mac? What program would you recommend?

Thanks again.

Next!

athem,

Well if you are going to use the camera for dummy layouts then maybe you just need a 990 or 995. I would go for the 995 as it's faster with focusing and less shutter lag to name a few improvements. Both macro very well which would help with dummy layouts images.

But if you have the bucks and want to grow a little more with photography maybe the 5700 would be better. The 995 is over a year old so you might want to start with the latest camera.

Best,

John V.

I do NOT stitch!

These images are combined from Multiple perspectives. This means a lot od distortion, switching backgrounds, etc.

I do all this in photoshop,

I use a oC. FRankly, other than amusing foks by its design, I think Macs stopped being useful as computers a while ago.

Johny ...

Do you mean I ofend the Mac religion?

Frankly, at least here, the only reason the Mac vs PC issue is relevant is the question of what SW is available.

The SW I use, is Phtoshop.

Johny ..

YOU not I asked whether I was using a Mac.

I do, however, often find that Macusers ask that question because they think the Mac somehow makes a difference.

If you want to talk about SW, or techniques for melding images, let me know.

I asked you if you were on a Mac because I'm on a Mac thus you could have recomended software to use if you were on a Mac. That's it - nothing about making anykind of difference what platform anyone uses! You can read into my original question all you want...

Sometime we all need to learn how to move on....
