Has anyone had an XD card go bad? I have a two-year old one that showed it had the photos on it while in the camera even after turning the camera off for a period of time and then turning it back on to view the photos. They were there. However, I went to download them onto my computer and was unable to. The computer tower did not recognize the card was in there at all. The printer displayed "card error". My Flash Trax portable hard drive did not recognize the card was in there at all. I put the card back into the camera and it read "Card error".

Did you attempt to re-format the card?
