well when ever i put the card in the camera it says card error and well their's some important pictures on it and i just need to kno what to do

(1) get an inexpensive chip reader.
(2) download free photo recovery software. Use google. (3) recover your photos. MT |

I would think that the first step would be the recovery of your missing photos, using the free software I mentioned. After that is accomplished then you can determine if you can properly format the XD chip that is giving you the problem. If you can format the chip normally, it will probably operate normally in the future. If you cannot format the chip normally it will become a failed chip that you cannot use. You did not mention the maker, but you might be able to get it replaced under warranty.
