Hi All,
I am in the hunt for a replacement for my 520, an upgrade if you will. So far I've looked into the 560 and the Stylus 300, but I'm not thrilled with the specs of either of them. I am now thinking of the out of production D-40. I like that it's quite compact, takes normal batteries, and seems to be packed with features for a point and shoot. Since I already own a C3040 and C730, I want to stay with a Smartmedia based cam, but small like the 520. Any D40 owners out there have a comment on this cam before I make the purchase? Appreciate any feedback as I scour the websites comparing specs/reviews/ect...... you know how it is !!!! Thanx much, MikeM |

Just curious, what features are you looking to upgrade?

more than 2mp, and I didn't like how long it took to recharge the flash. I ordered the D-40, there is just no comparison between it and the 560 or 300. Should have it by tomorrow.
