Is there anyway to increase the macro power of this camera?? thanks.

get a close-up lens, something in the +4 or +8 range. These filters can be stacked, so two +4 lenses will equal the power of a single +8, but two lenses might add vignetting. something to think about too is that some of these close-up lenses are not terribly sharp around the corners of the frame, and the really cheap ones will add lots of chromatic aberrations.

Yep, you can get Macro converters for cameras that screw on the end of the lens...you may need an adapter for the 2100 depending on the diameter of the filter.

You can get a set of +1, +2, +4, so you can stack them to get any number between +1 and +7 (although stacking may cause problems like vignetting or softness around the edge) but you can get individual macro converters that are stronger power in a single lens (+7, +10, etc.).

BTW, they are very similar to a filter, so they add very little weight to the camera.
