Nope. Not too attractive. I've seen this at my feeders. A vet told me that it's caused by a fungus or parasite (can't remember which). The feathers grow back after a while.

I notice you captured this with a E-620 but posted in the Oly P&S area. Which lens did you use for this capture?

Thanks for the info. My error for posting in the P&S forum. I used an Oly 70-300 lens. Bit of an overkill as I was only twelve feet away from him but that is what was on the camera.
