As you all probably remember I was looking for some advice on buying a telephoto lens. While I was seaching for information on the different telephoto lenses I found out that the B300 was a good lens. Well I was able to win one off of eBay last night.
![]() Link to eBay auction It looks it is going to be a nice setup when I get everything that I need. The only thing I need to get now is the CLA-1. All of your opinions are appreciated. Thanks. ![]() |

Looks like a good buy - a B-300 and WCON-08. The only note of caution is that whatever lense adaptor tube you get, be sure it's long enough so that the extending lense assembly doesn't bump into the B-300 or filter (if you keep one on (I keep a UV on all the time.)) The Olympus CLA-1 will be just fine, obviously.
The B-300 is almost legendary. Very good optics but for some, the CA was an issue. I have the B-300 and like it very much. I'm not technically critical of my pictures so whatever CA there may be, I don't go lookin' for it. Enjoy your new purchase. Take lots of pictures! Paul in NoVA C-730 B-300 WCON-07 |
