It is amazing how discreet circuitry almost is able to recreate the image as opposed to burning it on silver ... interesting stuff ...

Burning an image on silver was a way-out-there concept for its time!

Modern technology is easier to understand than past technology, like most people find ICs and transistors much easier to understand than tubes...I really have to think each time I think about how a tube ever works, while understanding transistors is a breeze.
