I am using C750 for more than 2 months .I have taken more than 200 pictures, and have not faced any such problem. probably ur problem is with the white balance. plz check it and try to take more snaps at automatic setting of the white balance.

I've never experienced anything like that, either. It looks really extreme.
High-contrast and back-lighted subjects with lots of white are the worst for Purple Fringing, and the photo you show here looks like it has an bright window that is blocked out (overexposed) white, a prime place for PF.. I also wonder if you might've accidentally set your camera's contrast level high and forgotten to reset it. I'd reset all the settings to their factory defaults, then try first using the camera on subjects with ordinary contrast (not besides bright windows!), at low (wide angle) zoom range. Have some areas of pure white (a piece of paper, etc.) in the scene, and see what results you get. If they look acceptable,, then try more difficult settings as comparison, by adding more direct light to raise the lighting contrast, and using a higher zoom ratio. Although you say the photo posted above is "random" it is not random in terms of the kind of scene; it has extreme high contrast, and in such scenes I would expect to get some degree of PF. |

i havent make changes at contrast or anything else
this purple shadow apears at outdoor shots mostly with bright weather. in the example above there is just a wall and no glass window. i wonder if my camera has problem, or i must do something with the settings. i wonder again, is cameras failure? |

I think you have a problem with that camera, I would return it and get it checked out. I have lots of C-750 images on my site and none show that problem.

If that''s not a window, then you had to have used flash. Right? From the posted image, have you cropped heavily to get the posted picture, or lowered the resolution fror osting? Its size is certainly not HQ resolution as I read the properies on the web. Have you altered the image at all in PSP? Brightness, Contrast, Sharpened? etc. Can you post the EXIF info that PSP will alow you to see for the image? This at least gives some idea of the camera setings |

I just tried some really contrasty shots against a white fridge, using flash, with the Contrast, Saturation and Sharpenss all set to 5 (max).
I cannot see anythong like the trouble you have had. I have had a mild version of your problem, with high contrast stuff, but only when I increased the settings even hightger in PSP and blew up the shot to fairly big numbers. You could see pixels. You seem to have a problem |

This is just s poor cam. Do what I am, return it!!!!!! Maybe some of these peope just don't want to admit it, but this cam is worthless!!!!!! Ie, terrible low light shooting, HIGH CA at zoom, ISo 400 unacceptable, no AF assist lamp. The list could continue, the fact is I have a $150 Fuji (2mp 2600z) that takes better photos!!!!
