Default Difference between raynox and olympus products

I've been confusing myself over choosing the best lenses for my Olympus C740uz since there are Raynox lenses on one side, and Olympus tcon17 & mcon40, with their respectively RT5245C7 and CLA-4 lens adapters.

Looking at the prices on yahoo stores for both models, I came up that for Raynox DCR-250 super-macro lens with a 2.5x zoom I can spend about 60$ while mcon40 costs over 90 bucks. But on the other hand, raynox has an expensive 1.54x telephoto lens comparing to the tcon17 with 1.7x. Now the only choice I think I have, is to buy both lens adapters and get the raynox supermacro lens and the olympus tcon17.

Has any of you tried both of them to give to others a better and clearer idea of what is best in camera's photo quality?

I've never used any of those lenses but I'd think that the Olympus lenses were made for their cameras and would be properly mated.
Not that other lenses wouldnt be satisfactory but your assured that the optics will be the same on the Oly products.
I have never heard a harsh word about the Tcon and plan on buying one myself.

My two cents.....penny and a half american

I use a raynox wide angle on my Olympus C-730, it mates and works well.
