Out of the blue, my camera is stuck in manual focus when the M. Zuiko 40-150 f/2.8 lens is attached. The problem disappears when I attach a different lens.
I have cleaned the contacts on both the lend and the camera body. Any suggestions? Dave |

Are there any selector rings or switches on the lens which could have gotten bumped? Can you try the lens on another camera?
I have had a similar problem on a Pentax with a Tamron lens, where the control chip in the lens was bad. Just guessing, really. brian |

The problem turned out to be user error. I forgot about the lens' focus clutch.

Sometimes it's just the simple things that we overlook. Can't remember all the times it has happened to me.
