Default Fisheye for C-4000z?

Does anyone know of any good fisheye lenses(or wide angle lenses - less than 0.5x) that would work with my c-4000? The only ones I have seen are out of my budget range. How well would a lense for a video camera work with the c-4000?

The problem is the cheaper you get, the worse the picture is and the more correcting you have to do afterwards.

For instance, I have a Canon .7x 55mm wide converter, and for every pic I have to correct for barrel distortion.

Raynox has a.66x DCR-6600PRO, and it has very little distortion, even less than their .72x lens...it will cost you more, but it's worth it.

With wide angle lenses you have to have the thread size bigger than your lens...if you don't, you'll get vignetting (a black circle) around your image. Many video lenses are smaller diameters. If you correct for this by cropping away the circle, you'll negate the effect of the wider angle.

You can see all Raynox's lenses (on a Canon G1) for comparison at http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/...mparisoneg.htm

Here's their 4000/4040/etc. page, http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/digital/egolyc4040z.htm You can click there for a page of sample images.
