Was at the football on saturday and it started to drizzle.. I really didnt want drops of rain o the camera. the lens hood kept it off the lens but how do you people keep it off the camera?

Also if anyones about (Have asked in lens) whats a "Linear Polarising Filter" is it actualy a polarizer and just described posh?

You could see if you can get an aquapac case for it, or use a clear baggie and have the opening where the lens is.

aquapac. thats a new one on me. but I guess the name says it all. hmmm gonna look into that. Winter is upon us and I do favour outdoor photography.

I bought a camera a few years ago that came with one of these, and I thought it was a neat and tidy idea.

In El Paso, TX, rain is not much of a problem. We receive only 8 inches a year. I use a zip lock bag. I cut a hole in it for the lens hood to go through. I can still use the shutter and see the lcd panel. It is cheap but effective.

Well we have a saying around here..

If you can't see the clock tower..Its raining.
If you can see the clock tower.. Its going to rain
