Been reading reviews and comments for over a year now. I first wanted a G3, then moved on to Pro1 and now I am interested in the C-8080...but there are a few features that I am still looking for. Albeit minute, there are still features i would like to have.Would like it to haveenlargment mode, I saw this feature on my brothers camera and really liked it. 2nd, a tilt twist lcd, such as the G3 or the Pro1. Thirdly, a
higher optical zoom. Is there any other camera out there that has the quality of the 8080 but with these added features? Would like to keep it under $1000. Any info. will be greatly appreciated. thanks :-)

If you want 8 Megapixels (for whatever reason), then you have a limited number of choices:

Minolta DiMAGE A2, Nikon Coolpix 8700, Canon Powershot Pro1, Olympus C-8080, Sony DSC-F828

The Oly probably has the best image quality out of the bunch (but this is strictly my opinion).

The Nikon has the longest zoom in the bunch (equivalent to 35-280mm). However, it doesn't meet your criteria for the LCD (and it's not as "wide" on the wide angle side of the zoom settings, as the others).

BTW, what in the world do you mean by "enlargement mode"?
