SINCE OLYMPUS REFUSES TO CREATE UPDATED DRIVERS FOR THEIR PRODUCTS, LET US ALL GET TOGETHER & BOMBARD THERE "CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT.” WITH EMAILS REQUESTING THEY SUPPORT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS & PRODUCTS!!
WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO THEM, PURCHASED THEIR PRODUCTS, BUT THEY REFUSE TO CONTINUE UPDATING THEIR DRIVER SUPPORT FOR US!! DID THEY THINK WE WOULD PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS & GET SCREWED WHEN THEY SAID, "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!” IF WE ALL GET TOGETHER MY FELLOW OLYMPUS SUPPORTERS, WE WILL MAKE THEM SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCTS AS THEY SHOULD!! THEN WE WILL NOT HAVE TO SEARCH FOR WEEKS, DAYS OR EVEN HOURS FOR FIXES, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE LAZY & HAVE CHOSEN TO SCREW ALL OF US. THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULD LET THEM!! BAND TOGETHER MY FRIENDS, I WILL LEAD THE REBELION AGAINST "OLYMPUS" TO SUPPORT THOSE OF US WHO MADE THEM WHAT THEY ARE TODAY BY GIVING THEM OUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! I HAVE CREATED AN EMAIL "[email protected]" to collect your emails before forwarding them to Olympus in BULK!! Please include your model #, approx. purchase date, lenght of time you have searched & any other sites I should post this message on! |

Was [email protected] too long?
Sorry I've got the V82 C5050 upgrade. Now I just have to decide if I want to load it. |

I think that the 5060 firmware is up on the Japanes site and is a executable file. I have already upgraded my 5050 myself to v82 from v 78 and everything works great.

I always like to let everyone else check it out before I jump. I'm still sitting on the Panasonic FZ1 to FZ2 upgrade which has massive changes. I'm in no hurry. Did you notice any differences? |

Hi,well, I did the same and let other braver souls go ahead of me. Yes i noticed that i have better exposed pictures and there seem to be less noise. The pictures that i have since taken, all seem to me to have better quality, that is, color and clarity. This is, of course, just my opinion and I realize that I could very well be wrong, but the pictures do look better to me. BTW, I went from v78 to v82. |

Where did you find the firmware upgrade for the C5050? I looked all over but can't find it posted anywhere.
