I am having Olympus C725 model. I am able to take only 20 stills in that camera. The battery becomes down very very soon. I have to switch off the camera in order to take that 20 stills. I am switching on only at the time of taking the still and next moment i will switch off the camera. Can anone help me which batteryto use for this model or this model itself have battery problem (high power consumption)

If anyone have the same problem and rectified it, please share it.

Thanks in advance.

As I know C725 is with 4 AA size batteries. Same is mine C740.
I use NiMh 1900 mAh rechargeable BRAND batteries. Of course you can use alcaline batteries.
DO NOT use simple batteries - you could get a leakage.
Do not use NiCd or "noname" NiMh rechargeable batteries - you could get your camera blocked during work.
Good luck!
