Actually, you do! The AUTO setting doesn't ever reset--- it just increments continuously until it maxes out and then starts over again. FYI...

Nonono, I meant if you used the *Reset* option. I know AUTO continually counts as that's what I use. And FYI, although it does start out at 1 again it does so in a *new* folder on the memory card...instead of the folder number on the memory card being 100, it increments to 101, and if you take another 10,000 pictures it increments to 102!
