Olympus-to-Mac pic transfer problem?
I bought an Olympus C700 digital camera about a month ago and I'm totally smitten with it. But am having a recurring problem with transferring pics from the camera to my G3 Mac (OS9.1) via the USB port.
Pic transfer (using simple drag-and-drop between the desktop folder representing the camera directory and a desktop folder on my hard drive) worked fine at first for about ten days, then one eve my computer stopped being able to transfer pics, even though I could still see the camera folder and could even open the pictures on it by doubleclicking on them.
A friend cleared the problem by running Norton Disk Doctor followed by DiskWarrior, but after another week or so of successful pic transfers the problem has recurred.
Has anyone else observed/cured this problem?
