G'day BBB
Have to agree with Gary here - while the 550 is an excellent little camera, if it no longer works 100% thei it's uneconomic to repair. A similar thing happened to us a couple of years ago The Oly range of cameras today has a collection of 'replacements' for the 550 - as well as other brands like Panasonic, Canon etc etc Regards, Phil

It could be anything. My suggestion is to get an estimate to see how much it's going to cost to repair. Unless you're VERY experienced with camera repair, the only thing you will do is make the problem worst.

Mate of mine used this repair site the other week, but not heard back how it went yet.
Any "Do's an Don'ts" pages on repairs? Or always just get done with the manufacturer? Just wondering if its just a trade off in price, or quality of repair. Thanks |
