Hi all. These are some of my first real tests with the XZ-1 at night. I'm quite impressed by what you can do handheld, compared to any of my previous cameras. All these shots were handheld. I experimented with more night shots on a tripod, but that's a story for another thread.

For those who don't know, Wallace is a tiny little mining town (population about 800) along Interstate 90 on the eastern edge of the Idaho panhandle. Mines in the area have produced nearly half the silver in the United States. They also mine gold, copper, lead, and zinc. The town served as the filming location for the fictional Dante's Peak in the movie of the same name (fake volcano pasted into the background).
