I bought the e-500 this week and have been shooting sports with the 40-150mm lens. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the ISO above 400. Whether I shoot on auto or adjust it manually the camera "blocks out" any of the options above 400. What do I need to do to use a higher ISO?

Hi, I have the e-500 and I just pust the iso button the wheel on the back and when the screen comes select the iso I want...can't figure out why you can't do the same. Someone on the forum can probably help you though...Donna

Try going into the menu, arrow down to the 'wrench' symbol #1, then right arrow to obtain the choices, the arrow down to "ISO Boost" and set to "on" position. That should do it, i hope. Bob
