Just wondering if anyone for christmas got the Sigma Zoom Normal-Telephoto 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM Autofocus Lens?

If so, got any examples for us to see??

I just ordered this lens and should have it within a week, but like a little kid on christmas day, I want it now and wanna play!!

Well, if no one has this yet, I'll surely post my reviews of the lens once I put my hands on it..

I didn't realize that any company actually had this lens in stock yet. Where did you get it?
I'm really wanting it, but I might wait a little while to hear back some reviews from Olympus owners. The 2x conversion factor makes me just a little nervous as it is sampling a smaller area of the image. Could this mean the resolution is far less than what users are getting on systems sporting a larger ccd?

I would also be concerned about the 2x crop as the resolution on this lens is not all that strong. Not sure if Tamron are planning to launch the 200-500 lens but this has a better resolution buy quite a bit than the Sigma which will help with a 2x crop.

On previous page.

Had it for a while. Not perfect but a heck of a lot cheaper than the Oly 300mm and better than an OM adpted telephoto.
