Although it is Spring and wild flowers are beginning to show about the Texas countryside my main photo exercises continue to be high school baseball for another few weeks.

Doing the sports thing gets me into a 'lens rut' and usually the event gets done with the 50-200ZD never coming off the E-3 which completely satisfies me with the results.

I do have the 14-54ZD and think about it often but something causes me to ignore the lens most all the time and it really shouldn't be, one should find usage for it.

This past weekend I put the 14-54ZD to the E-3 for a while, here are a couple examples I want to share, just for the joy of sharing....

If you have a 14-54ZD, I hope you don't ignore it like I have been doing the past few weeks.

Hi Bob

Have to agree with you on the 14-54 it is a good lens and pretty versatile too. What gets me is its size esp when comapred to ASP-c or FF lenses of the same FL.

On the E3 I have to say its seems to be better than when used on the E1 as well.

Cheers

Harj

Yep! it is a good one. I really like it on the E-3 and it does make a great lightweight carry around with my E-300 too.

Sometime ago I thought I might like the 11-22 but when I saw and tried the 12-60 that was when I decided to stick with the ...54 until one day, maybe the 12-60.

Excellent shots, edge!

Great shots! I agree. I think this lens is a great value right now. It was reccomended to me over the 12-60mm due to the E510 not having the fast autofocussing capability that the 12-60 was built for. anyway, for half the price I`m sure not complaining. :)

Hi Edge

Great shots and are they real M4's ??? Just curious as I'd love to have one myself - just for shooting in a range.

Regards the 14-54ZD it is a seriously fab lens and I've not seen a lot from the 12-60 thats made me think I would need one or want one of those other than to have the FL with just the one lens. I've only now seen pics from the 14-35F2 that clearly show the same kind of IQ as the 35-100F2 but whether its 6x better is debateable!

Cheers

Harj
